Description

In a privileged position next to the Pagasetic Gulf, a building of unique importance and history that goes back in the centuries rises.  According to tradition, before the city of Volos was founded, the stone built worship dedicated to Aghios Konstantinos and Aghia Eleni existed. In 1935, Aristotelis Zahos created the current shape of this architectural piece of art, while recently a lighting construction highlighted its unique stained glasses. However, beyond its shape, the temple presents more artistic and religious treasures such as the mosaic paintings of Saints in normal size as well as the relics of Saints to whom the temple is dedicated.
