    Description

The marble classic fountain with the lion heads, which was built in 1894, after the donation of the local migrants in Egypt, the brothers Tsirogianni and, up to this day, freshens the visitors with the water from the fountain “Dokana”. The fountain is an architecture building, as it is covered and reminds a small ancient temple. On four marble stands there are four pillars with corrugations all along, which end up in even capitals. These take all the weight of the architrave and a frieze with a carved coffee pot and a carved glass of Holy Communion. The whole fountain is made of marble.
